22 April 2016 – Official Book Launch of ‘Dancing with Trees: Eco-tales of the British Isles’ (Scottish Storytelling Centre)
Come celebrate Earth Day and storytelling with us.
Family Event, 2-3pm
Come and help Allison and Alette celebrate the launch of their book – Dancing with Trees – Eco-Tales of the British Isles, at a family-friendly storytelling hour. Enjoy a sample of stories from their book that celebrate our connection with the natural world. Meet the illustrator, Tessa Wyatt, and add your own colour to some of her original illustrations. Or try your hand at making a character yourself on slices of tree branch. A special treat for EVERYONE who comes dressed in fairy, elf, or nature-sprite costume (adults included)!
Official Launch, 7-8pm
You are warmly invited to join Allison and Alette for the official launch of their book, Dancing with Trees – Eco-Tales of the British Isles. Share our contemporary take on a centuries old Celtic and folk tradition of connecting to nature through careful observation and imaginative storytelling.
You will hear tales from their new book, which highlights the contribution home-grown stories from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland can make to healing the Earth.
Wine and cake, music and laughter included!
21 May 2017 – Storytelling at Cuningar Woodland Park
Allison and I will be sharing stories from our book in the great outdoors. More details to follow.
